Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By adding HiveCode to your Discord server, accessing the hive-code.dev dashboard, or purchasing a premium subscription, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Zedox Development ("we", "us", "our"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use HiveCode.

2. Description of Service

HiveCode is a multi-function Discord bot providing moderation, leveling, role management, ticketing, economy, giveaways, custom commands, logging, and analytics features. A web dashboard at hive-code.dev allows server administrators to configure these features. The core service is available free of charge. Premium plans ("Pro", "Enterprise") unlock additional features and higher limits.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use HiveCode, in accordance with Discord's Terms of Service. By using HiveCode you represent that you meet this age requirement and that your use complies with all applicable laws.

4. Permitted Use

You may use HiveCode to manage and configure your Discord server within the scope of the features provided. You agree not to:

  • Use the bot or dashboard to violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or abuse the bot, API, or dashboard
  • Automate requests to our API in a manner that places excessive load on our infrastructure
  • Use the bot to harass, threaten, or harm other users
  • Share, resell, or sublicense access to premium features
  • Misrepresent your identity or payment information

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any violation of these Terms without notice.

5. Premium Subscriptions and Billing

Premium plans are billed monthly through Stripe. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until the subscription is cancelled.

  • Pro: $4.99 per month, per server
  • Enterprise: $14.99 per month, per server

Prices are in USD and are subject to change. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of price changes to active subscribers.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the dashboard or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access to premium features until that date.

6. No Refunds

All payments are final and non-refundable. We do not offer refunds, credits, or prorations for any unused portion of a subscription period, including cancellations, downgrades, or removal of the bot from your server. By purchasing a subscription you acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep HiveCode available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, apply updates, or experience unexpected downtime. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by service interruptions.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Zedox Development shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of HiveCode, including but not limited to loss of data, lost profits, or service interruptions. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

HiveCode is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or fit for a particular purpose. Your use of the service is at your own risk.

10. Intellectual Property

All code, design, branding, and content associated with HiveCode and hive-code.dev are the property of Zedox Development. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to HiveCode at any time for violations of these Terms, abuse of the service, fraudulent activity, or at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your data may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

You may terminate your use at any time by removing the bot from your server and cancelling any active subscriptions.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the Netherlands.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide notice in the HiveCode Support Server at least 7 days in advance. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
